plot_strong_maximum(result, *, ax=None)[source]#

Plot two-dimensional Strong Maximum Test sample groups in normal space.

Parameters:

  • result (StrongMaximumResult) – Record of a completed two-dimensional test. Its stored points, candidate and test sphere are drawn without evaluations or random draws. Finding no competing region is not a certificate of FORM accuracy. Higher-dimensional projections are rejected.

  • ax (Axes | None) – Existing axes.

Returns:

figure, ax – Figure and axes, without displaying them.

Return type:

tuple[Figure, Axes]
